SSRS sending email to wrong SMTP server
Hi, We have a SQL 2008 R2 server with Reporting Services fully configured. It has been happily relaying reports through our Exchange Server for over a year. However we now need Reporting Services to send through an external smart host rather than our Exchange Server. We've changed the SMTP Server field in Configuration Manager to reflect the new smart host, restarted services etc. We have checked rsreportserver.config and the new smart host is showing in the file. However when our users generate a report it is still sending to the original Exchange server rather than the new smart host (we've confirmed this through our firewall logs - the mail is definitely still being sent to the old server rather than the new one). We've changed database mail settings elsewhere within SQL and all maintenance plan reports are going through the smart host without any problems. Has anyone seen this issue? Is there somewhere else we need to add details of the new smart host? Cheers..PhilPhil

It was me being stupid. There are two instances under our Reporting Services configuration - we'd only changed one of them.Phil
