I have created the shared datasource for the reportdata model Name : RMQDdatasource. In the Type drop-down list, select Report Server Model. In the Connection string area, type: Server=http://localhost/reportserver; datasource=/models/adventure works. Credentials-Windows Authentication (Integrated Security) and i went to create the report In Solution Explorer, right-click Reports and then select Add New Report. The Report Wizard opens.The Select the Data Source page appears. In the Shared data source drop-down list, select RMQBdatasource. I had this very issue and spent at least a day looking for the answer. The last entry in the string below is the Report model name that you deployed to the server without the .smdl extention. (not a folder). A more descriptive string would be datasource=/folder/subfolder/deployed report model name (without the .smdl extention) datasource=/models/adventure works
