SSRS report : how to show the addittional settings currency format
Hi,
Developed on report with date and currency values. Wanted to localise the report, means
wanted to show the proper date/currency formats (from regional settings). I have set the
Report->Lanugage property to :=User!Language
Currency filed formated with 'C'.
Date fields:values coming from database.
With above settings, the report is showing the proper date/currency when i changed to US or UK from reginoal settings. But when I changed to
Regional settings --> Format Tab(set to UK)->click on Additional settings button->Currency Tab and set the currency symbol to $.
Then try to open the report , still it is show the UK default currency symbol Pound.
So,anyone knows how to show $ symbol for UK county settings ?
Thanks,
Rao

Hi Rao,
The fomular User!Language does not depend on the Regional settings --> Format tab, instead, it depends on the Language settings in IE properties (Tools Menu -> Internet Options -> Languages). The currency symbol is depending on the IE Language
settings, and it would not read the customized currency symbol in Regional settings.
As for your requirement, I think you may hardcode the currency format to $#,#.00.
Thanks,
Eileen.
