I'm in SSRS 2008. When I generated a SSRS model, I checked the generation rule "Create date variations", so I expected to see the variation fields like "<field name> Day", "<field name> Month", "<field name> Year" etc. for any fields whose type is date. Most date fields have the variation fields generated, except one - whose name is "Interviewer Signed Date" . When I compared the property, I found the Format for this one is "g" but other date fields which have variation fields generated are "d". What is the difference between "g" and "d" for a date field? Why this date field does not get the aggregated fields but others do? How to make this one also get the variation fields generated? Can someone help me? any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
