Hi, I am copying reports which are currently on SSRS 2005 to SSRS 2008 R2 via RSScripter.exe just the reports and not the ReportServer Database. There 150 - 200 reports I am done doing the copy over to SSRS 2008 R2 environment. Now each report has different users in the security tab. How do I do the Item Level security? I do not want this to be done manually? Is there a better approach? Thanks..........

I'm not sure if anyone has a scripter out there for this, but another way would be to write some .Net code which connects to the two servers using the SSRS Web Services and reads the security from one and applies it to the other. I can't provide example code (because I don't have any right now), but there is a lot of sample code out there on using the SSRS Web Services from a .Net application.
