SSRS integration with sharepoint
We are trying to integrating SSRS with sharepoint. SQL server 2008R2 and Sharepoint 2010 are on two different widows 2008 servers. On the Db server when I launch the SSRS report manager URL I am getting below error. We were able to do this when the sharepoint and the sql are on the same server .But in the current scenario we are getting this error. Do we have to do anything more apart from the default installation . Please help The configuration parameter SharePointIntegrated is set to True but Share Point Object Model cannot be loaded. The error was: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. File name: 'Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' at Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.Objects.RSSPImpSecurity.set_StaticCatchAccessDeniedException(Boolean value) at Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.Server.SharePointServiceHelper..ctor() at Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.Server.SharePointServiceHelperFactory.get_ServiceHelper() WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF. To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1. Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging. To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog]. . Thanks Thomas, I found this link yesterday and tried the steps. Two things l missed earlier were 1. An add-in needs to be installed on the application server 2. Sharepoint WFE need to be installed on the database server. I am still working on this. I will update the progress on this forum soon@R

It seems there are couple of ways to do this 1. Install SSRS on Sarepoint application server 2. Install share point WFE on the SQL server And you need licenses for both options I am trying step 1 as I read there could be security issues with the step 2. And we have licenses issue too. @R
