SSRS Subscriptions in Report Server
Hi, Plz help in Report Server Report Subscriptions- Email/windows file share. I am getting error "The current action cannot be completed because the user data source credentials that are required to execute this report are not stored in the report server database. (rsInvalidDataSourceCredentialSetting)" i tried to change credentials in report Datasource page but am getting Error on Page. Kindly help me guys. This is a common error when the data source credentials are not stored in the data source. Are you using a shared data source? This is usually the best option. What type of data source connection does the report reference? (SQL Server relational database? Analysis Services cube?, Oracle?, etc.) If SQL Server, are you using SQL Server or Windows authentication? Check the shared data source settings in Report Manager and make sure that the user name and password are stored. Hi, Please try the below. 1. Open the shared datasource from the report project. 2. Click on the credentials tab 3. Select use this username and password 4. Enter the database username and password A screenshot showing where it needs to be entered is shown here 5. Deploy the datasource and try setup the subscription Hope this helps.
