SSRS Sharepoint integated mode, shared Datasets Delinked
I'm working on SSRS reports based on cubes in sharpoint integrated mode. Reports are using shared datasets which are deployed in dataset folder on sharepoint and reports in their respective folders. After the report is deployed from SSDT onto sharpoint, report name is edited/changed and then few parameters are set by going through manage parameters option for a report on sharepoint. Report works fine until this stage. BUT after some time like in a day or two Report is throwing errors, upon investigation found that Report datasets were not liked with shared dataset and hence they were throwing errors. when the dataset are pointed manually report starts to run again. Any ideas why this is happening?? Possible chances are something changing in the cube which is messing up the shared datasets and hence report is not working but in that case all other reports should also not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks...

Hi Rakesh, Sorry for the delay. From your description, do the parameters retrieve values from the share ddatasets? If so, the issue might be caused by the condition that the specified parameter values for the report are modified. To narrow down the root cause, I suggest that you not specify values for the parameters and just let them retrieve values from the shared datasets. If the issue persists, please post the detailed error message for further investigation. Regards, Mike YinMike Yin TechNet Community Support
