What is the difference between the tasks "Consume reports" and "View reports" . What does "Reads report definitions" mean? Our goal is to prevent users from running reports but allow them to view reports from the history tab. Is this possible? If not what would be a work-around? Thanks

well you can use caching in ssrs or save a snapshot copy of the reports, are your reports parameterized or simple? if you use the caching it will display the previous saved copy of the report and it want take time to run the report on the server.
