SSRS Reports in Sharepoint site
Hi, I want to be able to host some reports from Sharepoint site. These reports will be created in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). I tried a page viewer webpart, but it will either directly open the report, or I can provide the link to the report folder, which will open the SSRS page. What I want is that, the report name should be available just as a link and on clicking that, the report should start executing. I have see this happening on some other sites, but my colleagues who use it, do not know how that has been configured. Can anyone please help with this? Thanks, Manoj Deshpande. Thanks very much, Manoj Deshpande.

Hi , You need to install/ configure reporting services in share point mode , THe exact steps are dependant on the Version of Sql and the version of Sharepoint. Try this msdn article as a starting point as it offers advice on SQL 2008 , 2008 R2 and Denali http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281311(v=SQL.100).aspx Hope this helps , Robert Edgson
