SSRS RSClientPrint Add-On Installing repeatedly
Hi,
I'm facing Issue with SSRS Report Printing. When users click on print button within report viewer within a web browser. It pops up to install the Add-On. After installing, it works once. Next time, it again asks to install the add-on even though its installed
already. This time if I proceed with install, it says ‘An error occurred during this operation’. If I select Don't Install, it says 'Unable to load client print Control'.
Name : Sql Server Reporting Services 2008
Publisher : Microsoft Corporation
(Actual Control : RSClientPrint)
Version is SQL SERVER 2008 SP2 (not R2)
Is it a known issue? Whats the work around?
Thanks,

Thanks Ahmed. I know this works. But its not feasible for us. Firstly its insane to let a add-on install again n again. Secondly, non admin users are not allowed to install anything on our systems.

Thanks sharp. I have already tried that.
I think the issue I'm facing is this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2431178
Initially I thought it applies only to 2008 R2, but after reading it more carefully, it also applies to 2008 SP2. DBA will try installing its patch later. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2467239/LN
One more question I have. Exactly which hotfix i have to download for this ? http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=2467239&kbln=en-us
There are many options for x64. Do i have to install all 3 ?
2008_PCU2_SNAC_CU2_2467239_10_00_4272_x64
2008_PCU2_RSShrPnt_CU2_2467239_10_00_4272_x64
SQLServer2008_PCU2_CU2_2467239_10_00_4272_x64
Thanks All.

Your link takes me to "How to determine whether a computer is running a 32-bit version or 64-bit version of the Windows operating system"
All 3 options I have mentioned are 64 bit only. x64 to be specific.

Hi Liquidloop,
Thanks for your question and Ahmed’s reply. Based on my research and past experiences, in order to resolve this issue, I have two suggestions

General tab, click the button of Settings below the
Browsing history.
3. In the
Temporary Internet

Settings, click the button of View
objects.
4. In the path of C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files, press Ctrl+A, check all of the files, then delete them.
5. Close the browser, reopen it, then locating to the URL of your Report server, click the
