SSRS R2 on iPad 2.0 ...
I built a reporting solution in SSRS R2, built and deployed the solution. I then tried to access this report / graph on my iPad 2.0 and noticed the following: 1. Safari Web Browser on the iPad 2.0 prompts for a user id and password. WHen you key in your domain userid and password (domain name\user name format), you can access the report. 2. I have a drop down in my report to list all of my available work centers ( a long list) and the option to scroll down or enlarge the drop down list does not work on the ipad. It works fine on a normal PC / laptop. Have people used SSRs to build reports, dashboards and deploy them on mobile devices? Could we share our experiences here? TIAJagannathan Santhanam

I also face the same problem. I am not able to scroll through the multi-valued dropdownlist of SSRS in IPAD. Did you get any solution?

Hi jsanthanam, Thanks for your question and Jay’s reply, every discussion about SSRS is welcome in this forum. For question one, Please try to store the credential into the Safari Web Browser. For question two, Based on my research, this issue may be caused by the design of Safari Web Browser in ipad. As we know, we couldn’t use Internet Explorer on iPad. However, there are recent browsers like Opera and Skyfire available for iPad too. Please test rendering the report on them. Hope them help. Thanks, Sharp Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help you and unmark them if they provide no help.

Did anyone find a way to get the windows credentials to permanently stick? If the ipad is restarted or a certain amount of time passes, the user have to re-enter them. Thanks, Mike
