SSRS Export to Doc getting blank pages
We are getting blank pages when we export the report to Word document. We have eliminated blank pages issue in PDF & XPS viewer but still not able to get it working in Microsoft Word. We are using SSRS 2008, please let us know if there any workaround for this issues. We have already tried possible workaround like - KeepTogether, setting page margin etc. Thanks

Hi, This is a Reporting Services question(Moderators - Please move this thread to the SSRS forum). Did you try making changes to the Report Margins? In my experience this is typically due to one or more hidden page breaks. These page breaks are placed by the SSRS designer autimatically for you if you chose to create a report using the wizard. To correct, access each element on the report (I would do that through the properties window - F4) and inspect each General page - PageBreak setting to make sure it is set to none.Arthur My Blog

Hi, After the report is opened in Word, Word repaginates the entire report again based on the page size. Repagination may cause page breaks to be inserted in locations where you did not intend to add them and, in some instances, may cause the exported report to have two successive page breaks in a row or add blank pages. You can try to change Word's pagination by adjusting the page margins. For more information about exporting to Micrsoft Word, please see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc627455(v=sql.100).aspx Here has a thread which is similar to your scenario, please see: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqlreportingservices/thread/0bb84c5d-6bf2-4cb1-aaaa-1e8fd0e0337c Regards, Charlie Liao
