SSRS 2008 Static Object Size
Hi All - I've looked far and low - and I can't find anything that works, but I know there's a solution since I see SSRS reports having this all the time. I'm trying to do something super simple - basically make objects a 'static' size in a report so I can put multiple objects on the same report. I've tried placing a rectangle on the main report, and then adding in a sub report. But the subreport is MUCH larger than the rectangle and thus it just makes the rectangle grow to alter the size and the layout of report isn't kept. There's no 'don't resize' option (wouldn't that be too obvious if there was?!?) So the question is- how do I make things where they don't resize? And make my subreports have the scrollbar on the sides in them if they don't fit the default object size. Thanks so much!

Cool thanks. I also asked someone else, and they suggested make a custom aspx page with a report viewer in there to make it a static size. So I thought I'd mention that incase anyone else is looking for a solution to this.

Hi _rmullen, Currently, there might be no built-in feature to forbit the growth of the Subreport in Reporting Services. If possible, I suggest you to resize the original report (which has been used as Subreport in the main report) to fit the layout. Thanks, LolaPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.
