I am running SQL Server 2008 SP1 build 10.0.2766 on one machine (we'll call it REPORTS1) with the same build on another machine (REPORTS2) acting as the RS web frontend. My SSRS log files say my RS version is 2007.0100.2531.00 ((Katmai_PCU_Main).090329-1045. Prior to a couple days ago, the log files said REPORTS2 was using RS version 2007.0100.1600.022 ((SQL_PreRelease).080709-1414. Everything was working fine for the most part, but then I became aware of a problem with one of my reports that was similar to what I found in bug 416115 . Since what I'd found suggested that it could be fixed with a Cumulative Update, I figured I'd get all the latest patches, so I installed SP1 and CU 7 (KB 979065) on REPORTS2 a couple days ago. That fixed the problem with the report, but since then the Reporting Services service on REPORTS2 has been crashing intermittently- sometimes running for 30 minutes or so w/o a problem, other times crashing a minute or two after starting. Hi, According these error log, this issue is similar to this feedback at https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/357186/server-error-in-reports-application?wa=wsignin1.0 but it has been fixed in sql server 2008 sp1. So, i would suggest submit this feedback at http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback to check this issue within sp1 cu7. thanks, Jerry

I encounter the same problem everytime when I deploy reports from Business Intelligence Development Studio or upload any report files in IE. Could someone please help? Thanks Ray
