SSRS 2008 Report initially take a long time to display.
We have several sql 2008 SSRS reports running on our LAN. They work fine but when a report is first invoked it can take up to 30 seconds (of "Waiting....") to appear and the average user thinks the process has "hung" . Are there any SSRS parameters we can "tweaK' to shorten the delay? Barkingdog

Execute the query against the database directly to find out how much time it takes and see what the difference is. Also, check out this excellent article - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/robertbruckner/archive/2009/01/05/executionlog2-view.aspx
