SSRS 2008 R2 Sparklines are only partially visible when rendered in IE7, IE8 and Firefox 3.6
I'm troubleshooting a sparkline/chart rendering issue on the report server and am wondering if anybody has had any similar issue. The sparkline is rendering with a larger apparent size than the column cell where it is located so only a portion of the chart is visible. Charts appeared correctly in BIDS preview but were rendered incorrectly when accessed from the report server in IE7,IE8 and FF3.6 on one machine and from IE8 on another machine. Report rendered correctly when accessed from the report server via IE6 on all machines tested. It rendered correctly when exported to excel or pdf. I submitted a bug report. It has examples and screenshots. https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/588778/ssrs-2008-r2-sparklines-are-only-partially-visible-when-rendered-in-ie7-ie8-and-firefox-3-6#details Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I do not see the screenshots in the link. The sparklines works in my IE 8. So, please restore your IE settings and clear its cache files, then try to view the report to see if it works. thanks, Jerry

I am experiencing the same problem and the answer above did not fix anything. This only happens when sparklines are inserted into a table. They render a little distorted on the report server. They look fine in BIDS preview, however...

A workaround I have found at the moment is if you place a "Rectangle" in the cell first and then place the Sparkline within the rectangle. The sparkline then renders fine on the server.

I have the same problem as ahentzel and gmchusyr. I tried the tip with including the rectangle first, but the problem is still the same. Did anyone find a solution?
