SSRS 2008 R2 64 bit against MS Access
HI All, I've a SSRS 2008 R2 instance where I need to publish some reports that are developed against MS Access MDB. I came to find out that there are only 32 bit drivers for OLE DB and ODBC for Access/Jet - is that true? If so then what are my other options (besides using 32 bit version of SSRS 2008 R2). If I setup a linked server against my Access MDB, it is not visible from SSRS (when I try to set up a Data Source). Can anyone help? Thanks!GBM

There is no Access drivers for 64 bit The easiest way for you is to upsize Access mdb to SQL Server 2008 R2 using MS migration assistant (SSMA for Access) http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2005/en/us/migration-access.aspx. Then you could add linked tables in Access in place of access permanent tables. You processing logic in Access will stay as is or with some modification. Your app then will satisfy data entry in Access Reporting in SQL Server 2008 R2 64 bit Sergei

Thanks Sergei. I am going to try to following as soon as I get permissions to do so and will update this post: Install AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=C06B8369-60DD-4B64-A44B-84B371EDE16D&displaylang=en. GBM
