SSRS 2008 R2 - parameter load issue (SharePoint 2010)?
Hi, I have SSRS 2008 R2 running in SharePoint 2010 mode (14..4763.1000). In SharePoint site homepage, I have SSRS report web-part. When user open the website and and on homepage report render correctly however parameter not display correctly (on initial load all parameters are like hidden). Initially only "Apply" button is appear and once user click on "Apply" button all other paramerts appears. Reports parameter works fine on non-homepage reports. Any idea what is causing this and how to resove this issue so SSRS web-part MUST display report parameters always? Thanks.

Hi KM IT, From your description, parameters are always display when clicking on “Apply” button to render the report, and you would like to hide the parameter area, right? Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. Actually, parameter pane is visible with the “Apply” button, if we hide all the parameters for the report, the “Apply” button would be hidden with the report parameter also. Please take the following steps to hide the report parameter in SharePoint, and then check if it works for you. 1. Point to the report and click the down arrow. 2. Click Manage Parameters. If the report contains parameters, each parameter will be listed on the page. 3. Click a parameter in the list to modify its settings. 4. Choose Hidden if you are using a default value and you do not want the parameter to be visible in the Parameters area. After completing the steps above, we could find that parameter pane was hidden and Apply button was hidden too. For more information, please see the following article, How to: Set Parameters on a Published Report (Reporting Services in SharePoint Integrated Mode): http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb326410(SQL.110).aspx If you have any question, please feel free to ask. KM IT, This could be due to you haven't installed the latest patch for reporting services to work fine with Sharepoint in integrated mode. If yes, then please install the CU6 patch for SQL Server 2008 R2. Regards Manoj

Hi folks, If you've still got this issue one option might be to install the SQL 2012 Add-In for SharePoint. This link shows someone with similar problems to yourself (from what I can tell) http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/721979/parameters-disappear-when-report-is-rendered-with-parameters-drawer-collapsed Here's the link for the add-in download: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29068 Let me know if this helps!

Any resolution for this issue? I'm having the exact same situation here on my production environment with SharePoint 2010 with SQL Server 2012 add-in and SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services. On the connect item SQLPhil provided, Microsoft does not give a solution and therefore the item is imho wrongly closed..
