SSRS 2008: How to position the chart columns centered above tick marks?
Using a Column chart. My Category groups are Month and Year, with Month being the inner group so that a three-letter abbreviation of the month is shown directly under the data column and the Year is beneath that set of months. However, the data columns start at a position on the left of the month tick mark (for the first month displayed) and gradually moves to the right of the month tick mark for the last month displayed. How does one center the columns directly above the month tick marks?? Thanks! --ACG

Hi, Does the chart have only one series? If so, in order to make each column centered above the tick mark of each month, please refer to the following steps: 1. Select the X-axis of the chart. 2. In the Properties pane, specify the Interval property to 1, and then specify the IntervalOffset property to 0. For more information about Axis Interval, please refer to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb934284.aspx Thanks, Tony Chain Tony Chain [MSFT CSG] | Microsoft Community Support Get or Request Code Sample from Microsoft Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.

Thanks for your reply Tony! I have only one series but it is grouped series: Months. My Categories are grouped by Months then Years. My interval had been set to 1, I also set, like you said, my OffsetInterval to 0, but when I do that it remains as Auto, which is the default setting. So it seems like 0=Auto. Anyway, that doesn't work for me. If I set both to 1 then I get the same result as before. Also, if I set the LabelIntervalOffset to 1 it only show some and not all months, so I reset that back to Auto. Anyway, still the same issue. Any other ideas? --ACG
