SSRS 2005 Report Manager - Blank Reports Page
Like others here I am having a problem with the reports manager website being blank when users trying to visit it. I am a local administrator on the box and have since added myself to security for the home folder through managment studio since I couldn't from the website. I've also already tried unsetting Enable anonymous access feature for either Reports or ReportServer virtual directory in IIS . No go. Any Suggestions? Thanks,

can you run right-click IE and "run as administrator" and see if you can see the home folder?

Hi Abernaki, Based on the problem that you mentioned, I assume that you are trying to access the Reports Manager Website from the server locally, right? In that case, I agree with Shahfaisal to start IE by right-clicking the IE icon and Run as Administrator. Besides that, I think you may check the UAC settings on the box and decide to disable UAC for a test. The reason is that Reporting Services require additional configuration steps if you want to administer it locally. Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 would limit the overuse of elevated permissions by removing administrator permissions when accessing applications. Because the operating system removes permissions, members of the local Administrators group run most applications as if they using the Standard User account. If you are interested, please look at follows, How to: Configure a Report Server for Local Administration on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 (UAC): http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb630430.aspx If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
