SSRS 2005 Bar chart with break up effect
Hi, I am using SSRS 2005. I need to produce a bar chart with break up on cummulative values. I have attached the required output for reference, I need with similar type of output. In this pic. the initial value is 237, so we can see a bar from 0 to 237, the next value is is 26, so the value increases by 26, is shown in the 2nd row. In the 3 rd row, the value is -47, so the bar decreases from the 2nd row. In the 4 th row, the value is -11, so again it reduces, In the 5 th row, the value is -62, so the bar shows a reduced effect. Overall this chart represents a cummulative/ growth effect of values shown in table. I need to create this type of chart using, SSRS 2005. Hope this can be achieved in SSRS 2008. using Gantt chart, but I need to do this in SSRS 2005. Appreciate if I can get the solution for this issue. Thanks, Mahalengam Arumugam

Hi Mahalengam, Sorry for the delay. Based on your scenario, such a chart cannot be accomplished in current release of Reporting Services. To work around the issue, you can use the RunningValue function to get the aggregate value for each instance of the "Account" group.
