SSRS 08 R2 - Export to Word does not print entire footer
I have developed a report in SSRS 2008 R2 Reporting Services, When the users export it to Word document no matter where I place textbox in the footer they are always with zero margin from the bottom and I see them in the print layout in BIDS correctly but,
when rendered as Word doc they don't print. Users have to adjust the this margin manually to get it printed. They are very frustrated with this. Is there a workaround or a fix to this issue. I had the same issue with the header and I increased hieght of header
and moved the textbox to centre that helped and tried doing the same but no luck.
Thanks in advance.............

Hi There
Thanks for your posting as I understand from your description the page header can grow dynamically to accommodate the contents when previewing the report. As far as I know in
hard page break rendering formats like PDF, Word, and the height of page header/footer is fixed, furthermore it not supported to set the height of the page header/footer based on an expression currently. This is by design
I recommend you that submit this suggestion at

I hope this will help
Many Thanks

Thanks Mike & Syed. I did take care of this issue by shrinking the size of textbox I was using in my Page Footer. Mike it looks like a neat and easy work around which I might try in the future. Thanks very much for all the help.
