SSRS - Non Standard Ports and Kerberos Delegation
I'm getting the old double hop from Reporting Services 2008 when I try to run a report that pulls from a remote database. I have configured RS to use a non-standard
port number and have set the SPNs up like this -
setspn -A HTTP/ABCDEF0123.YTD.AD.GHISD.COM:1821 YTD\SQLDev
setspn -A HTTP/ABCDEF0123:1821 YTD\SQLDev
I've done all the things I need to do e.g. SPNs, the AD trusted delegation bit, the RSWindowsNegotiate bit.
I'm wondering if the non-standard port number is giving me a problem. Anyone got any experience of setting up RS with non-standard ports for use with kerberos?

Hi nzrdb6,
Your setspn command string are right. The syntax resembles the following:
Setspn -a http/<computername>.<domainname>:<port> <domain-user-account>
So, could you describe your issue in more details? In additon, see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281382.aspx on how to Register a Service Principal Name (SPN) for a Report Server.
thanks,
Jerry
