Hi Suresh, A report within another report is a sub report, i.e. there will be two reports one is master(which will call that sub report) and another one is child. The child report or sub report can accept parameter(s) from the master report & will execute its work.Basically we use the sub report where we want to show big template on a report, then we divide that report into sub report(s) and then call those sub reports into main report, let me know if you need any further clarificationThanks, Sumit

Hi Suresh, A subreport is a report item that displays another report inside the body of a main report. Conceptually, a subreport in a report is similar to a frame in a Web page. It is used to embed a report within a report. Here has a MSDN article abtou subreport that might helpful for you, and there is a screenshot in it, please see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd239314.aspx If you have anything unclear, please feel free to ask.
