SSIS subscription email going to recipents Outlook junk mail folder
I am trying to export a table from SQL 2005 to an Excel file. My SQL server has Microsoft Office Excel 2007 resident. I have tried using the SSIS Import and Export Wizard which creates the target Excel file but fails to export any data to it. The errors I get are: 1. [Destination - EVENT [55]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80040E21. 2. [Destination - EVENT [55]] Error: Cannot create an OLE DB accessor. Verify that the column metadata is valid. 3. [DTS.Pipeline] Error: component "Destination - EVENT" (55) failed the pre-execute phase and returned error code 0xC0202025. When I manually create the Data Flow task I get the same results. If I try to create a .csv flat file I get errors during the development phase saying my two The odd thing is I have numerous SSRS packages that export data to Excel files via Reporting Services. Please check for mapping details and datatypes in export wizard. If you are using excel, you may have datatypes such as nvarchar, nchar etc.. you have to handle them properly. Best regards, SengwaBest regards, Sengwa

You did not post the entire error and the before last phrase was abruptly ended. Try to re-run your Data Import Export wizard and make the extract very simple, say one column only, will it work?Arthur My Blog
