SSIS package and TFS Source Control (can't shake it!)
A developer created an SSIS package in our "dev" environment and put it under source control (Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2008). We manually copied the dev SSIS package to our Staging environment. Now whenever we open the package in Staging we get this message: >>>> "The source control provider associated with the solution could not be found. The program will be treated as not under source control.. Do you want to permanently remove the source code bindings from the project? >>>> We answer "Yes" , save the SSIS project, but are asked the same question (about source control) whenever we open the package. We removed all source code related files from the SSIS solution, removed all references we could find in the sln and proj files, yet we still get the same message when we open the package. Help! TIA, Barkingdog

Hi barkingdog, I think it's a problem related to VS Source Control rather than SSIS. See whether this helps, http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/vssourcecontrol/thread/8919a05a-b5f6-4ade-ad05-c554affb06a3
