SSIS extract data from Windows Application Log - how?
Hi Does anyone know how to extract data from Windows 2008 R2 Application Log please? I've looked at all sorts of connections and nothing looks like it will work. I managed ot get Log Parser2.2 working, but its a bit clunky and I'd like to be able to extract application log data and drop it directly into a SQL database for analysis. Any thoughts welcome. As I'm not a programmer, you may have to keep any instructions straight forward. Thanks in advance, SG
