SSIS decimal error
Hi, i have a problem deriving the column at decimal value Input data is like : 0000013980 Required output : 139.80 Current results which i am getting is : 139.00 Expression used for this transformation : '(DT_WSTR,50)((DT_NUMERIC,12,2)(fieldname) / 100)' Can anyone please suggest what is going wrong with the expression ? Thanks

You don't need two zeroes after the decimal place, just one. Why does this work? Because "100" is an integer, and when you divide a numeric by an integer, you get an integer. "100.0" is a floating point number, and causes precision to be maintained. Talk to me now on
