SSIS and SSL
Are there any extra configurations required to enable SSIS send data to another database using ODBC and SSL ?

What is the method of sending the data (e.g. FTP, WebService)? And what is the source and the target? In general a firewall may be your biggest issue, but in most cases the desired is pretty much straightforward. Arthur My Blog

Actuall, I want to pull data from another database using SSIS. The connection method will be ODBC and the source has requested it to be over SSL

There should be nothing to be done on the SSIS side, please skim through this article which may help you understand or guide you to the right direction: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316898Arthur My Blog

Hi ambitious1, We don't require to enable other configurations in SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS). What we need to notice is that, the client used to run the SSIS package must have the CA certificate installed. Thanks, Jin ChenJin Chen - MSFT
