I am trying to create a more useful table of info for my remedy records. there is a table called assigned time which stamps the database everytime someone enters time on a case. record1 caseA 1min statusOpen 6/2/2011 record2 caseB 3min statusOpen 7/2/2011 record3 caseA 1min statusAssigned 7/5/2011 record4 caseB 1min statusAssigned 8/20/2011 record5 caseA 4min statusResolved 8/1/2011 i can program but my sql is so/so. Is this something I can do with SSIS? I basically want a view like this case# openTime assignedTime resolvedTime openToAssignedTime timeInMonth1 timeInMonth2 timeInMonth3 totalTime thanks for any input

Is this ActionRequest by Remedy (an issue tracking tool)? It has custom reports built in, no SQL required. In SSIS you can, but what is the end result, another table? Or a text file? May be Excel? Arthur My Blog

Yes this is action request by remedy. I see some custom reports in the GUI utility, but nothing really matches what I want. I'm not a remedy expert by far. The end result would be another table that i could create some SSRS reports from and provide to management.

I am afraid I still do not understand your tables structure, could you create something nice e.g. a live example of what is in there and how you want to see the end result. Also AFAIR, the source is Sybase, do you have its drivers?Arthur My Blog

there is other case stamps inbetween if you look at the record number sequence, i filtered out one case.
