SSIS Package deploymnt: Security setting
Hi, I have developed a SSIS Package in BIDS 2008. It is usinf c# script control to check if a file exist in a path ie. a path to local C drive folder. It executes successfully on the development machine. Issue arises when I deploy it on the server Server : SQL2008 r2, windows 208 I have created a domain user A. Added domain user A to administrator role on windows server. created user login A on sql 2008 with sysadmin rights. Now I deploy the package to server. When I execute it. it always return file not found without throwing any exception. Files are present on the location. Job created for package also has User A as owner. I think it should work but cannot find the issue. Try logging event but it fails as package cannot enter event log. Any thoughts ?? Thanks in advance. Shady

You need to run the job under Domain user A's credentials. To do that you create a proxy account in SQL server and then assign that proxy account to the job http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Integration+Services+(SSIS)/69441/ Chuck Pedretti | Magenic North Region | magenic.com
