SSIS Fuzzy lookup/grouping and Jaro Winkler
Hello all, Has anyone used this both? Which one will have better accuracy. I know we can built our own Jaro winkler in script component. http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Integration+Services+%28SSIS%29/65616/

The link seems to be working. I copy pasted in both IE and firefox. I have created solutions using SSIS fuzzy lookup transformation, I was asking if anyone has used Jaro winkler to do the similar task, and which seems to be better because, it seems to be quite similar and I've seen many companies using JW. thanks, Rok

I did not get the link displayed. I do not understand what you wrote either. Jaro Wrinkler is the name of a distance measuring algorithm: "The Jaro-Winkler distance (Winkler, 1999) is a measure of similarity between two strings." Maybe this link will work better: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Integration+Services+(SSIS)/65616/ To answer the question: I haven't used the algorithm before. So I'm not really a help here :)MCTS, MCITP - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate.
