Hi , I have an ssis package which sends an email after successful execution.It sends an email when i execute it from bids as wells as from ssms integration services.But when i execute the package by scheduling a job the package runs fine but it does not send an email on success.should I create a separate notification alert when it is executed through a job or there is any property that should be altered in my package. Enable package logging so that you can see what messages are generated from the package. If it's not sending emails when scheduled as a job, it's likely because the IS server can't see the SMTP server, or the account the IS package is being run under doesn't have rights to use the SMTP server.
