SSIS Dynamic Configuration
Hi, I had three different sources, using ssis package i loaded three different data into three different databases. Now I create a master package where all three child package will be executed through execute package component. My problem is how to create a configuration file & which properties i need to select to change the source or destination databases. Can any one help in finding out different was of configuration. Thanks Shanu

thank, but can tell me briefly about the configurations. In my master package i call three child packages.. in that master package i gave all variables in child packages. If i change the destination database in configuration file, the table is not exists in that database so it is failing.

configure connection manager properties in global.config file. configure all the packages to use config file . use windows environment variable to store global.config file location and set up package to read settings from environment variable (Go to SSIS menu and click on package configuration) use package variables to store table name (including DB prefix) and use "table name or view name variable" in data flow destinationhttp://sqlworkday.blogspot.com/
