SSIS 2008 Packages deploy to Sql server 2005
I have packages developed in SSIS 2008, can I deploy those packages to SQL Server 2005? Either File system deployment or SQL deployment?Thanks

SSIS 2008 packages can not be executed using SSIS 2005. You can store them on the file system of that server, but I do not think you can store them using SQL deployment on that server.

Hi, I have developed a SSIS package in visual studio 2005. Is it possible to deploy it in SQL Server2008? When i trying to install this package in sql server2008 server as file sysem. I got a error as "DtExec : Could not load the configuration file (file path). Please any one suggest me on the same Thanks, Pon Kumar Pandian.T

old post but have you tried opening & saving the package in VS2008 first?
