SSIS 2005 package error ADO.NET Connection manager could not be edited
Hi, I have SSIS package created using SSIS 2005, I am trying to edit connection to verify the test connection is succeed or not, I am getting error "ADO.NET Connection manager could not be edited" in connection manager window. Also I tried to create a new ADO.net connection, i am getting error "Class not registered". Looks like my system ADO.net connection is installed properly. Any body know how to resolve this issue. Thanks for advance.

Is the connection pointing to a custom (non standard) data base link ? It occcurs when the ADO.Net uses a custom installed driver for connecting to databases which are not supported by standard drivers from SSIS (for example for SAS database you will need to buy and install a driver for connecting)
