SSIS - extracting from excel
How to extract data from a excel sheet from 6th row...as the first 5 rows are the col names ,and their details..
can anyone help me by answering this...waiting for the reply

not even you can start from special row, but also you can start from special Cell.

Another option is to use a named range in your Excel sheet and import from this named range.

Hi Giri,
Hope, Excel Source is having static number of rows and columns...
please try this solution...
1.In Excel Connection Manager Change the data access mode to SQL Command.
2.Use the below query to select records from 6 row...
SELECT * FROM [ExcelSheet$A6:BA65000]
