Hi there, I have difficulties to connect to an SSAS-database, which i can only access in SSMS (Management Studio) with administrive rights. I tried to create a datasource connection for Reporting Services with that (special) SSAS-Database, but its not shown in the database catalogue. I started BIDS with admin rights, but it wasnt shown neither. Has someone an idea or could provide with some hints? ;) Thanks for your anticipation.... Regards

Hi, You could try adding your username in the Roles section in SSAS database. Provide full permission to the user and then try connecting it from BIDS. HTH, Ram

Are you using sql or windows authentication in Management Studio?
