Auch, then the correct answer is to upgrade the SQL server to 2008 R2 :-) - check this thread for an answer to solving the SQL 2005 problem http://www.myitforum.com/forums/m224441-print.aspxKent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Then you do not have the correct permissions configured. Permissions in SSRS are a whole separate mechanism from the ConfigMgr permissions.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

Didn't work. 1. Deleted the ConfigMgr Reporting Services Point 2. Added New Role, ConfigMgr Reporting Services Point 3. Restarted the SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT in configmgr service manager 4. It works, no error message! 5. I won't even ask why this solves the problem but, without any intention to offend anyone, WTF just happend? Jason I don't understand, I am using a domain admin account to configure SSRS

My Setup 1. SCCM 2007 R2 and Server 2008 2. SQL2005 running on Server 2008 R2 I am having an issue with my SRS site installing. I get the following error SMS SRS web service is not running on SRS Reporting point server "LEWSQL2". Now I can browse to the site using http://SQLservername/reports and that show the homepage but no site folder under that. The SRS web service is running. Here is the log info. Looks like the installation was successful: <01-14-2011 15:36:32> Installation was successful. Did you configure the SRS componet in the ConfigMgr console after installation? By default, there are no reports and nothing is created until you initiate the configuration. See this link for an "easy" setup experience: http://blogs.technet.com/b/mwiles/archive/2009/02/19/east-setup-of-srs-with-config-manager-r2.aspx. You should be able to skip down to the section titled Configuring Properties for the Reporting Services Point near the bottom.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

I still get the same error and nothing shows up on the web site.
