Hi, I want to add a custom legend to my chart as I don't want to use the legend automatically created. So I've right-clicked on the chart and selected 'Add New Legend'. However I don't seem to be able to edit it to create my own legend. I know I can do things in Custom legend text but this does not meet my needs. I'm very new to this so must be missing the obvious. Grateful for any help. Thanks

Hi SkyeW123, You can format a legend by using the Legend Properties dialog box or by using the Properties pane. Right-click the legend and click Legend Properties to change values for the legend text, background color, borders, and 3D effects. To change values for the legend title, select the legend, right-click the legend title, and click Legend Title Properties. However, you cannot add images, extra columns or other supplementary items to the legend.
