SQL server 2008 R2 - How to find the SSRS log files
Hello everyone, I am unable to find the tracing of SQL server reporting service. Acutally while accessing the reports, I am getting an error. I would like to see that error in trace or log file. Where can i find the same on my reporting server? I found below link but unable to find the path http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156500.aspx Thanks, Ankit Shah Inkey Solutions, India. Hello Ankit, Depending of the installation drive and instance name, you will find the log files in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.<YourInstanceName>\Reporting Services\LogFiles Olaf Helper * cogito ergo sum * errare humanum est * quote erat demonstrandum * Wenn ich denke, ist das ein Fehler und das beweise ich tglich Blog Xing

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100 do i need to check program files x86? Hello Ankit, in that folder are only the shared binaries installed, not instance data. Search for the folder as I posted first. Maybe it's installed to drive D: or an other one. And yes, if you have install a 32 bit version SSRS on a 64 bit OS, then it would be installed in "Program Files (x86)".Olaf Helper * cogito ergo sum * errare humanum est * quote erat demonstrandum * Wenn ich denke, ist das ein Fehler und das beweise ich tglich Blog Xing
