SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio locking up on Report Printing
We have had reports of this locking up and crashing peoples computers on Windows 7 VS2008 with all updates. I have little knowledge of this software although it appears
to be some sort of bug/incompatibility
This is what one user reported today, along with crash logs etc
"This is the screen that it comes up with when I try and print. The report is running ok but it is when I press the print button. Yesterday this report
was printing but today it won’t. The only way I can then get rid of this is to close the application down and re-start it."

If anyone has any ideas please let me know
Thanks

Hmm interesting, do you say that all reports throw the error? Did it work previously?
BTW, why do you allow users to print out via BIDS? Have you tried report viewer, internet explorer?Best Regards, Uri Dimant SQL Server MVP http://dimantdatabasesolutions.blogspot.com/ http://sqlblog.com/blogs/uri_dimant/

"It was working yesterday, and I am printing via BIDS because I am currently writing the reports and they haven’t been deployed yet to our student records
system (so it is only me who is printing them)"
