SQL Server 2008 security set up for SCCM
As a sql server best practice builtin/admin should NOT have sysadmin in SQL Server. SQL Server SYSADMIN should only be defined to the DBA group maintaining the SQL Server. This us for obvious audit reasons. How can SSCM
be installed without violating this audit policy?

By no means am I a SQL guru so maybe I am not understanding your question. If I am I will try to answer.
We use Windows Authentication for SQL for SCCM. I don't think it matters what you do to those accounts you mentioned.

ConfigMgr does not require any administrators including the local admin to be a sysadmin. ConfigMgr requires the ConfigMgr site server computer account to be a local admin on the system hosting SQL Server and a sysadmin in SQL Server -- these are two separate
and distinct requirements. There is no other supported configuration.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys
