SQL Server 2008 - Could not load type 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.UI.Gl obalApp'.
Reporting Services 2008 has been working just fine for the past several months and now I get errors whenever trying to access the Report Manager or the Web Service URL. I have searched for 2 days to find a solution with no luck. Here is the error in the Event log that occurs when trying to access the Report Manager: Failed to initialize the AppDomain:ReportManager_MSSQLSERVER_0 Exception: System.Web.HttpException Message: Could not load type 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.UI.GlobalApp'. This version of SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services no longer puts the Reports Manager or Web Service Virtual dirctories in IIS. So I am not able to follow the KB you replied with. I figured it was permissions, but where do I go to configure this? In the Reporting Services configuration manager there are no errors and everything looks to be setup correctly.

Hi bsease, The 401.2 error is definitely an authentication issue. Are you implementing Kerberos in the environment or NTLM?
