SQL SERVER R2 - input form, interactive viewing of data
Is there a facility in the Server Studio or the SQL ... Business Intelligence Development Studio to create forms for input or browsing data? In the web environment I use ASP but what about on the desktop here? I have heard inklings that you can use Access as sort of a front end that connects to the SQL server ... you can enter/change data in sql server tables with SSMS, but if you want to use it as a data entry form for users, no there is no builtin tools. but for browsing data you can use SSRS ( SQL Server Reporting Services ), and SSRS has its own forum which you can ask questions there: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/threadshttp://www.rad.pasfu.com My Submitted sessions at sqlbits.com
