SQL Reporting Services 2005, 2008 HTML render issue
I need to display content in html format. I tried using place holder control. Its not supporting all html tags. I need to use html table tags with style attribute also. Any one got the solution for this? Thanks in advance.

When you create a place holder, select Markup type as 'HTML-Interpret HTML tags as styles' option. Have you tried this?

Hi bugs 007, Not all the HTML tag will be represented , the following is a complete list of tags that will render as HTML when defined as placeholder text: · Hyperlinks: <A href> · Fonts: <FONT> · Header, style and block elements: <H{n}>, <DIV>, <SPAN>,<P>, <DIV>, <LI>, <HN> · Text format: <B>, <I>, <U>, <S> · List handling: <OL>, <UL>, <LI> Any other HTML markup tags will be ignored during report processing. Hi bugs 007, Only several HTML tags will be supported in Reporting Services, this might be product's limitation, if possible, you could retrieve your dataset from the HTML, then utilize the build-in table control in Reporting services, Here I would recommend you to submit a feedback to Microsoft Connect at this link https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback This connect site is a connection point between you and Microsoft, and ultimately the larger community.
