SQL Reporting Service Vs Crystal Report
I would suggest you if you are using SQL server on back end then you must use Sql Server Reporting Services as it will give you best features of availbility , compatibility and flexibility, you can further expand it with sharepoint integration at any time , and can utilize the power pivot by utilizing the same underlying T-sql business logic and much more. Hope it will help you.------------------ Please mark my post as an answer if I helped you to resolve the issue or vote up if I helped you.Thanks. Regards and good Wishes, Maqbool.

Hi DreamSuccess, Thanks for your post. Simply, we can distinguish them from the name literally, SQL Server Reporting services is a services, which enables you to design, deploy, delivery and manage reports, after you design the report you can publish it to report server directly, and then you can use report manager to manage this report and delivery this report to specified users using subscription feature, you can also grant the report access right to the spepcifed user, and then the users can access this report directly through report manager web site. While the Crystal Report is just a report, you must create a application to as a container to host this report. You can choose to use which one according to your bussiness needs.
