SQL Reporting
Hi All, I want to know how SQL reporting integrates with SharePoint. I just started a new DBA job and the company is looking to have SQL reports in Sharepoint. I am not familiar with SharePoint so have a few queries. 1. The company currently uses SQL Server 2005 and SharePoint 2003. Is it possible to have SQL reports in SharePoint with these versions? If not what is incompatible or are both incompatible? 2. The company will be upgrading to SQL Server 2008 R2 and SharePoint 2010. Are these better designed for such reporting? If so what tools or configuration options do I need? Regards Paul
