SQL Azure Errors
We are attempting to monitor SQL Azure using SCOM 2012 running on Windows 2008 R2. After running the SQLAzureMP.msi, then I imported and installed the Microsoft.SqlServer.SqlAzure.mp ... In the Operations Manager, you click on Authoring | Authoring | Management Pack Templates | SQL Azure I get following error message So, I pathed the location where the MP, and the associated DLLs but this message does not go away. Has anyone experienced this before ?

You know, from somewhere I read that Microsoft made every effort to ensure MPs for SCOM 2007 will work on SCOM 2012. After reading the fine print, only then I realized this SQL Azure MP does not work with SCOM 2012. I wonder how many other MPs work for SCOM 2007, but are not supported under SCOM 2012. When we made conscientious decision to go to SCOM 2012, the key factor that permitted us to upgrade was the premise that "all SCOM 2007 MPs will work with SCOM 2012.

Hi, You can't use the SharePoint MP for SCOM 2007 in SCOM 2012. As far as I know only few MP's for SCOM 2007 can't be used in SCOM 2012, but always remember to read the guide (DOC file) before importPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
